The Gulf Coast has good reason to celebrate. It has come a long way in recovery, both mentally and in community spirit. Resurrection II's label and wine represents those accomplishments and victories. It was the hard work of those who endured that makes the region an example of determination. The label also celebrates the resurrection of the people and their Football World Championship. Local artist Phil Galatas has captured this in the painting that was used to create this label.
PINOT GRIGIO
Mostly picked from Lodi with a tad bit from Clarksburg, stainless steel fermented at around 53 degrees for over 4 weeks. Blended with a small bit of Muscat, less than 10%, to help with the floral nose. Enjoy hints of orange and peach flavors with a citrus body and smooth finish. Serve chilled with fresh oysters, shrimp or fish.
PINOT NOIR
Comes from Mendocino and Lake County in the North Coast. Aged in both American and French oak for 4-6 months. It is a blend of Pinot Noir with a touch of Syrah (less than 10%). Wine is made in the Burgundian style, soft and elegant. Strong red cherry and raspberry characteristics with a slight, vanilla smoke nose. Medium bodied with a delicate finish.
